James is an award winning business consultant, advisor and entrepreneur, with an international board level background in the staffing and recruitment sector, ultimately as General Manager within one of the largest HR and Recruitment service providers in Australia. As Chairman of The Recruitment Network, James works with recruitment business leaders, helping them to achieve significant growth, performance improvement and competitive advantages acting as a Non-Executive Director, consultant, trainer and strategist for numerous fast growth recruitment businesses.
Gordon is a business coach, speaker and trainer with a proven track record in business, team and individual transformation. Over the course of 15 years, Gordon has worked helping businesses within the recruitment sector and beyond to achieve their potential, enjoy profitable growth and outperform the market through a focus on customer experience and leadership - currently 6 of Gordon’s clients have been voted the best in the UK in their sector. Prior to setting up Innergy and The Recruitment Network, Gordon spent 10 years transforming his family business from a regional player into the UK’s largest privately owned food distribution business, turning over £200m and employing over 1,200 people prior to a successful trade sale.
Graham Palfery-Smith has been involved in the recruitment industry for over 35 years. He is an accomplished and highly experienced strategic senior manager who has run a wide range of specialist recruitment businesses internationally, including HW Group, Robert Walters, Faro and FiveTen Group. A highly effective communicator and a team creator, Graham brings an energetic, enthusiastic and passionate approach, international contacts and an excellent market intelligence network.
Tony Goodwin is the Group CEO & Chairman of Antal International, a global management and executive recruitment company and one of the fastest growing business service organisations in emerging markets such as China, Eastern Europe and India. Antal now has more than 120 offices in over 30 countries around the world and celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013. Tony has won numerous awards including Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 at the London Loves Excellence Awards and Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011.
With more than twenty years of main board experience in the Telecoms and Networking, IT and Recruitment markets, Simon is a focused sales and business leader who believes that the true measure of success in any enterprise is establishing mutually beneficial inter-dependent relationships with customers and suppliers. In his time Simon has initiated, planned and implemented organisational change, re-skilling and re-focusing sales and business development initiatives in three LSE listed staffing companies.
Gary is the Commercial Director of The Global Recruiter, the world's largest recruitment specific magazine, focusing on editorial for those involved in supplying staffing solutions both globally and within their regions. The Global recruiter is distributed to UK and Ireland, Northern Europe, Asia Pacific, Australia, Middle East, North and South America and China and was the first publisher in the staffing industry to deliver a multimedia platform across all mobile devices as an app.
Toni is an inspiring and widely respected recruitment leader. She has been recognised with multiple business and recruitment awards including E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to the Recruitment Industry. Founder of IT and managed service specialist DP Connect, Toni ran the company for 27 years until a recent MBO in 2017. A role model for women in business, Toni has instigated campaigns to attract and retain women in IT and to promote IT careers to schools and universities.
Kate began her career working for a large innovation company, providing extensive management and support to the lead inventors. She worked across a number of sectors ranging from hospitality to FMCG and on a variety of projects developing new brands, products and business models. Since joining Innergy in 2010 she continues to utilise her project management skills and is now responsible for the running of the company's operations. She is involved in many areas of the business and has a passion for organisation and detail which allows her to deliver great customer service.
Haydn oversees all the marketing activity for The Recruitment Network. Having had a passion in design since being young Haydn has always enjoyed graphic design which he always tries to apply to his Marketing activities. Haydn is a strong believer in content lead strategies and the new ways of digital marketing. He also enjoys running, kickboxing and being a bedroom DJ.
Ed is responsible for attracting and consulting with new members, he has an extensive recruitment background having spent the 12 years in the industry. He is passionate about helping new members get involved and helping them reach their business goals. Ed loves sports and spends his free time swimming and running.
Victoria is the Member Experience Manager for The Recruitment Network. She is responsible for ensuring our members get real value from the network, with a focus on improving performance and profitability, providing support and advice wherever possible. She has spent the last 10 years focusing on service quality and is always passionate about delivering an unrivalled customer experience. Victoria spends her free time with her family and friends, with the occasional running or dance session thrown in for good measure.
Natalie is the Operations Executive for The Recruitment Network. She is responsible for supporting the run of the company’s operations and the Trailblazers programme. Before joining Natalie worked for the NHS helping to run the Out of Hours doctors service, providing extensive organisation in their rostering and day to day management of the company’s operations. Natalie enjoys spending her free time doing yoga and catching up with her friends and family.
Chloe is an Operations Executive for The Recruitment Network. She is responsible for supporting the run of the company’s operations and the Masterclass programme. Before joining The Recruitment Network Chloe was responsible for purchasing furniture designed for mental health institutes, hospitals and prisons. Chloe spends her spare time at the stables with her 2 horses and with friends and family.
Becky has experience in sales and marketing for B2B and B2C companies. Before coming to The Recruitment Network she ran an ecommerce website so brings her skills and experience gained in these areas to The Recruitment Network. She is passionate about finding innovative ways to market the business, so hopes to spread the word about The Recruitment Network. In her spare time she loves to spend time outdoors with her horses and her crazy chocolate Labrador, Bumble.
Lee is the Community Manager for TRN World. He is responsible for the day to day management of the online platform, ensuring it stays up to date with content as well as encouraging community engagement. Prior to working for The Recruitment Network, Lee worked in various Customer Service roles whilst studying for a degree in English and American Literature from the University of Kent. In his spare time, Lee enjoys playing the piano, reading and gaming.
